For the project 'Striking Sound', we were influenced by the Judson Dance Theater, which was a place for collaboration between artists of various fields such as, dancers, writers, filmmakers, composers, etc who worked together in an atmosphere of diversity and freedom (1962-1964) .

Dance in this project have the purpose of transcending sound's utility in a multi-collaborating visual concept.

Art exists in time as well as in space. Time indicates change and movement; movement implies the passage of time. So movement and time are vital and critical elements in art although we may not be aware of it and so they are also important element of our project.

Someone, who wants to create a sound, can place one element in the space, through movement, so he/she creates a pattern and this pattern is the seed of rhythm for the next movement. Whether or not you plan for it, your movement will have rhythm running through it. Rhythm activates space. Rhythm creates mood. Rhythm can lead audience through the movement.

Furthermore based on the theory of nonverbal communication, where dance can be supposed as a human behavior, through this project we wanted to explore the conceptual natural language of dance with intrinsic and extrinsic meanings.
